 We conduct valuations for inheritance tax, current market or insurance. All valuations are fully illustrated and can be put on a CD. Our clients often have specialist requirements and being a small company we can accommodate these needs. Valuations have been carried out for some of the major solicitors in Edinburgh and Angus and the properties covered have varied from large castles to more modest bungalows. Prior to a valuation we will arrange to meet the client to discuss specific requirements and also to gain an initial assessment of the work involved. It is at this point that we discuss our fees, which are dependant on the size of the property and the amount of time the valuation will take. Our fee is not reflected in the value of the items valued. We are happy to send a mock valuation as an example of the work that we can produce. Our clients receive a draft copy initially and when both parties are satisfied the final copies produced. |
